New quick guides to help demystify broadband for consumers

We are in the process of rolling out a series of quick guides to help consumers navigate the often complex world of telecommunications.

They cover how to choose, test and improve broadband speed and performance, and what avenues are available to resolve broadband issues.

The retail telecommunications sector is a priority area for us across both our consumer and regulation work. The sector continues to generate a growing number of consumer complaints. Our recent Consumer Issues Report for 2016/17, found telecommunications was the most complained about industry, with the number of complaints increasing by nearly a third on our previous report.

The first infographic ‘How do I choose my broadband?’ is available on our website, with more to come before Christmas.
