The Commission held Lender Seminars in August 2021 and discussed at a high level, the important changes to credit laws coming into force on 1 October and 1 December 2021.
In September 2021, further seminars were held which were focus sessions on the five main areas of change. These include a new certification obligation, a new duty of due diligence for directors and senior managers, as well as changes to responsible lending, disclosure and fees and advertising obligations.
