We have now commenced work on our review of Auckland Airport’s performance for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2027. Our review will include analysis of Auckland Airport’s pricing decisions and expected performance over the price setting event four (PSE4) period.
We are currently reviewing the rules and processes that underpin the Commission’s regulation of airport services, electricity lines services, and gas pipeline services.
The current default price quality path for electricity distribution businesses (DPP3) is due to expire on 31 March 2025 and we must make a decision by 30 November 2024 on the next default price-quality path to apply (DPP4).
