Verifier appointed for Transpower’s RCP3 proposal
In our capex IM review decisions and reasons paper, we signalled our intention to pursue verification of Transpower’s RCP3 proposal as a pilot, rather than by amending the IMs to formally require it.
We also indicated we would notify stakeholders once the verifier had been appointed, and make the deed publically available.
We are now able to confirm that the verifier Transpower has engaged is Synergies Economic Consulting, with GHD providing engineering support. Their report will accompany Transpower’s proposal to the Commission in December and they will attend meetings with us to help inform our evaluation of the proposal.
