The Commission undertook an investigation into the circumstances associated with the delay in providing battery backup devices to vulnerable consumers in compliance with the Commission’s 111 Contact Code. The scope of the investigation included several retail service providers (RSPs) affected by these delays. The Commission took no further action as, in our view, affected RSPs did not engage in conduct that was likely to have breached the law.
