Pharmaceutical company, Ego Pharmaceuticals Pty Ltd, has been fined $280,000 after pleading guilty to two representative charges under section 12A of the Fair Trading Act 1986. The charges related to the making of unsubstantiated representations regarding the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of two sunscreen products between 22 February 2019 and 11 June 2020.
