The Commission has accepted court enforceable undertakings from Kmart to resolve its investigation under section 30(1) of the Fair Trading Act into an alleged breach of the Product Safety Standards (Children’s Toys) Regulations 2005. The investigation related to a home-brand toy fire engine sold by Kmart in New Zealand between January 2018 and January 2019.
