We reviewed the milk price calculation for the 2017/18 season and published our final report on 14 September 2018.
At the end of each dairy season, we undertake a review of Fonterra's base milk price calculation. This review assesses whether the calculation is consistent with the purpose of the milk price monitoring regime as set out in the Dairy Industry Restructuring ACT (DIRA).
Open Country Dairy Limited brought judicial review proceedings against certain conclusions in our 2017/18 Base milk price calculation review report. The High Court dismissed the application for judicial review. Read more.
