We have reviewed the milk price calculation for the 2022/23 season and published our final report on 15 September 2023.
At the end of each dairy season, we undertake a review of Fonterra’s base milk price calculation. This review assesses whether the inputs, assumptions, and processes used in the calculation are consistent with the efficiency and contestability purposes set out in the milk price monitoring regime in the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act (DIRA).
