Mondiale Freight Services Limited

The High Court has imposed pecuniary penalties of $4.9m on Mondiale Freight Services Limited and of $65,000 each on its current and former directors John Douglas Sargent, Philip Arthur Bramwell and Bryan Ronald Hutson. The defendants admitted engaging in price fixing and market allocation with competing freight forwarders in breach of s 30 and s 27 via 30 of the Commerce Act.

Oceanbridge Shipping Limited

The High Court has imposed pecuniary penalties of $4.6m on Oceanbridge Shipping Limited and $100,000 on its director William Edward Speedy. The defendants admitted engaging in price fixing and market allocation with competing freight forwarders in breach of s 30 and s 27 via 30 of the Commerce Act.
