In 2014 we undertook a review of our mobile monitoring functions.
The mobile metrics discussion paper set out our preliminary views on the reasons for reviewing the mobile monitoring and asked industry’s and other interested parties opinion on:
our preliminary view on the metrics to be collected outside the annual questionnaire
any other measures that would assist us in our on-going assessment of the competitive dynamics of mobile markets.
The document Metrics for monitoring the mobile telecommunications markets corresponds to the second stage of the review process. It sets out a revised set of metrics that reflects our consideration of all comments submitted by the industry to the initial discussion paper, which was released in June 2014.
